Master thesis – supporting discipline

Socio­lo­gy regu­lar­ly accom­pa­nies mas­ter’s the­ses as well as free mas­ter’s the­ses as a sup­port­ing disci­pli­ne. It includes a socio­lo­gi­cal ana­ly­sis of the exten­ded envi­rons of the site and the design task its­elf. The goal is to set the archi­tec­tu­ral or urban deesign pro­ject in rela­ti­on with the social envi­ron­ment and to expand the design approa­ches to include socio­lo­gi­cal aspects in line with the focus of the tasks. A spe­ci­fic socio­lo­gy task is set for each topic of the mas­ter’s the­sis. In the case of free mas­ter’s the­ses, super­vi­si­on is car­ri­ed out in clo­se coope­ra­ti­on with the design chair.
