Dr. Rahel Nüssli
Rahel Nüssli studied Geography (focus in human, political and economic geography) and Political Sciences at the University of Zurich. From 2010 to 2019, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Sociology at the Department of Architecture, ETH Zurich. She taught in various formats in the bachelor’s and master’s programmes at the Department of Architecture, and she conducted research on the project “Urban Potentials and Strategies in Metropolitan Territories — at the Example of the Zurich Metropolitan Area” (as part of the National Research Programme NFP 65 “New Urban Quality”). Her dissertation, which she completed in 2018, also focused on this topic, with contributions on urbanisation policies in Zurich North and Ausserschwyzas well as the Association of the Metropolitan Region Zurich.
