Caroline Ting

Caro­li­ne Ting studi­ed archi­tec­tu­re at RWTH Aachen Uni­ver­si­ty, TU Wien and ETH Zurich. She has a Mas­ter of Advan­ced Stu­dies ETH in Housing, com­ple­ted at ETH CASECent­re for Rese­arch on Archi­tec­tu­re, Socie­ty & the Built Envi­ron­ment at ETH Zurich. She work­ed as a lec­tu­rer and rese­ar­cher at the Chair of Socio­lo­gy, Depart­ment of Archi­tec­tu­re, ETH Zurich. She is co-aut­hor of the book “Urba­ne Qua­li­tä­ten – Ein Hand­buch am Bei­spiel der Metro­po­li­tan­re­gi­on Zürich” and, tog­e­ther with Chris­ti­an Schmid, co-edi­tor of the volu­me “Metro­po­li­tan­re­gi­on Zürich: Urba­ne Kon­fi­gu­ra­tio­nen und Para­dig­men der Stadt­ent­wick­lung, which is due to be published by gta Ver­lag in 2027. Sin­ce 2021, Caro­li­ne Ting is lec­tu­rer at the Lucer­ne Uni­ver­si­ty of Appli­ed Sci­en­ces and Arts, Insti­tu­te of Architecture.
