Nitin stu­di­ed urban design at ETH Zürich and archi­tec­tu­re at the Insti­tu­te of Envi­ron­men­tal Design in India. His PhD rese­arch focu­ses on inves­ti­ga­ting cir­cu­lar migra­ti­on to Indian cities as a emer­ging phe­no­me­non of exten­ded urba­ni­za­ti­on. Bet­ween 2013–2016, he worked in India under various capa­ci­ties as a poli­cy rese­ar­cher and grass­roots design prac­ti­tio­ner. Pri­or to 2012, he worked as an archi­tec­tu­re and plan­ning prac­ti­tio­ner in India and Afri­ca. His inte­rest lie in action rese­arch, trans­for­ma­ti­ve chan­ge making, and histo­ry and theo­ry of migra­ti­on. Some of his work can be found here.
